Why take a wine tour in Barcelona?<\/h2>\n

Did you know? Spain has the largest covering of wine grapes in the world, with 72 different wine-making regions… Indeed, there’s a lot to learn about Spanish wine, and a lot to taste on a Barcelona wine tour.Now, we drink Spanish wine, and trust us, we drink a lot of it. It’s safe to say that across all of our cities, we are all pretty big Spanish wine fanatics. It only made sense, then, that we put our minds and taste buds together to make a fantastic Barcelona wine tasting tour with spectacular tapas to top it off.<\/p>\n

On this tour, we’ll dive into the world of cava (sparkling white wine), which is mostly produced in Catalonia.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

What’s included in our Barcelona Gourmet Tapas & Wine Tasting Tour<\/h2>\n

We wanted a memorable experience that combined Spanish wine knowledge with a fun evening out. On this tour, we try five Catalan wines along with delicious traditional and gourmet tapas. Over the course of the evening we visit three\u00a0 family-run tapas bars – enough for a full dinner. Not only do we try standout reds, we also try amazing local whites and vermouth straight from the tap.<\/p>\n

And have we mentioned the food? Between sips of wine, we’ll sample a range of quintessential Barcelona tapas and home-cooked options, including melt-in-your-mouth braised beef. (If meat isn’t your thing, that’s ok too – we are happy to accomodate vegetarians!)<\/p>\n

We chose our favorite spots to drink wine in Barcelona so our guests would discover several gorgeous bars and restaurants in the city. From a modern tapas bar to a traditional wine bar, we include a taste of different and emblematic wine establishments in Barcelona<\/a>. And that’s not to mention the beautiful, cobblestone streets of the historic Born district<\/a> between stops. What more could you ask for?<\/p>\n
